Abstract
Roland Dorgelès and Albert Camus have a common heritage: the war. The society of the twentieth century is dominated by the two world wars at the same time they reveal the undeniable techno inventions; show the limits of human action. The herd is done hara-kiri, it took the ethical and moralistic philosophers to expose and end the humanitarian risk. The challenge of writing the war is its resilience and its cathartic value.
